My Story

Helping you get to a brighter tomorrow

There’s a scene from a television show where the main character is talking to God saying, “I don’t know what I did wrong. I followed all the rules, and everything just fell apart anyway.” Have you ever had a moment like that in your life where you did everything you were supposed to do in order to “succeed,” and then it all fell apart anyway?

This happened to me. Through circumstances beyond my control, I lost my marriage and my home. My children and I had to move to another town and start over. My kids lost their friends, their schools…their feelings of security. I had to file for bankruptcy and we wondered how we would make it. I felt like I had completely failed.

I remember the moment I walked down to my neighbor’s house to inform them about what was happening. I was so afraid I would lose their respect. It was one of the hardest conversations I ever had. It turned out that they respected me more and supported me completely. Still, going through this experience was excruciating and I wish I had understood the value of having a life coach.

Through the help of family and friends, and an internal resilience and determination not to give up, we did make it. In fact, we thrived. The move turned out to be beneficial in many ways that we couldn’t see at the time.

During my life, I have had my share of  these types of moments. I know how painful and confusing life can be. As your Strategic Intervention Life Coach, I provide insight and guidance during those times in your life when you feel lost or overwhelmed. Most importantly, as your coach, I help you tap into your strengths, courage, and resilience. We identify your goals and desired outcomes and then devise a plan to help you achieve them. We take this journey together. There is no need for you to go it alone.

As Dustin Hoffman’s character says in the film, Mr. Megorium’s Wonder Emporium,

“Your life is an occasion. Rise to it.”
